My nothingness has been
taken by waves that kiss and burn
the atomic son cradled against
everything my father taught me  
she carves melted scars into the earth.
sailing into torrents of evening simply because
everything high has fallen
you leave words in my hands & candle wax
forgive me father, for I have fallen, into hell
