Wet Teddy Painted RedIt's hard to tell if he's dead or just tired.
If he can see, he would appear to be staring
above and to the side - what we might call the
men lining the ridge in the smoky dusk before
you finish the last sticky sweet angular drop
from the pure tip of a steel arrow notched and
his soul quivering with life, anticipating the
coming change of weather. Eventually, there
will either be time for walking or
pretending to be playing hide-&-go-seek with
a teddy bear? Left out in the rain? C'mon, you
know he just had too good of a time last night.
